Kyle’s First Day.

Kyle started work this morning. He had to wake up at 6:30 to shower and whatnot, so I could take him and have him at training at 8:00. It was actually really sad dropping him off because I will not see him for a while, like eight hours. So after I dropped him off, I headed home, took a shower, and cleaned the house. It is so empty here, and I cannot even hear his voice. Just silence running through the house, it is almost louder than if he were making noise. Oh well though, right ?

On the upside of things, my parents and my sister are coming down here to visit today. (They are actually on their way as I type this). We are going to chill around the house for a little while, probably gossip about a bunch of pointless things. Then I am going to go pick Kyle up at 3:00 from Olive Garden, and more than likely head out to eat with him and my family. I am actually very excited because I really want to see them, and I want to see Kyle so bad. Being alone is really weird when you are on your own. I am not kidding when I say, silence is deadly.

But, let’s stay on the positive side of things today. It will be a good day. Just a depressing start, is all. Thank you all for reading, it means a lot to Kyle and I. Have a great day, and don’t forget about our ask box. (:

Monday.

Hey guys. Sorry for us not posting as much. We have been extremely busy with school, and what not. But everything is going well. I just got home from dropping off Christian at school, and I have to go to school in about two hours.

Oh! Christian and I both got the Olive Garden jobs, I start my training as a host on Saturday and Christian starts as a waiter next Monday. I am so excited, not only because we have jobs (finally) but because we are working together, at Olive Garden none the less. It is going to be great. Yes, we will not have much time to lay around at home but we will still be able to see each other a lot.

Has anyone seen the movie Quarantine Two? Christian and I are more likely going to watch it tonight (Rebox!), it looks really good. The first Quarantine was really good. I liked it. So hopefully the second will be good as well.

We went to go see Straw Dogs on Friday together. Christian loved the movie, I did not think it was terrible but I would not recommend it for someone who has the same taste in movies as me. I loved the ending, but some of the things that went on during the duration of the movie, I did not like at all. But I had Christian there to hold me, so it was definitely worth it.

Well that is all for now. We are really going to try harder on posting more often, and we will tackle our ask box soon! I promise.

Thanks for reading.

The weekend is near.

Today is Friday, and the weekend is literally just around the corner. I am very grateful that you all have stuck with us, and have not un-followed us. Kyle and I have been so busy with school and hustling to try to find a job. Our lives have been crammed with so much stuff, and it is insane. But hey ! We have a relaxing weekend coming up. Today after my class that ends at 2:50, Kyle will pick me up and we are going to head back to our home in Currituck to see my family. That is going to be so nice to finally see them, it feels like it has been years.

On top of that, we are patiently awaiting a phone call from Amanda, the manager at Olive Garden. She is supposed to call us today, if we are hired for the positions we applied for. Kyle and I are so nervous, to the point where our stomaches feel like they will fall out of our butts. I have my fingers crossed so tightly. And you all should too ! We really need this job, because him and I are running on Empty with out bank accounts, and have no where to go if this falls through the hole. So please keep us in the back of your brains and keep those fingers crossed !

But other than that, I got the games Dead Island and Rise of Nightmares, which are absolutely amazing games. Dead Island has to be the best zombie hack and slash game I have ever played in my life. And Rise of Nightmares is terrifying because it is on the Kinect and you do all the movements ! If any of you are looking to get a new game, get those two ! I have Dead Island for the Ps3 and Rise of Nightmares for the Xbox 360 Kinect and I do not regret any bit of that.

Oh ! And the messages that are in our message boxes, will be replied to. We have not forgotten about a single one of you, we just have not had the time. Him and I will reply as soon as we can I promise. More than likely, today. I will let you all know as soon as Kyle and I get a call, if we do. Please, please, we need this.

That’s all for now. Thank you all so much for reading ! Get us out there, because Kyle and I want our words to be heard. We need all the support we can get ! And again, do not be shy. Our ask box is open, and we will reply to them all, I promise. I hope you all have a great day.

School Cancelled.

East Carolina University has cancelled school yesterday, and today due to damage from Hurricane Irene. Which has been nice, but I do not want to be cramming in all of my classes. I just finished up with some readings for my English Literature class, which was not bad. I think I am going to enjoy this class. Today I have an interview at Olive Garden, and I have my fingers crossed badly because I would love it if Christian and I both worked there together. I also have an interview on Thursday at an assisted living home, but I would surely take the Olive Garden job with Christian over that one. So fingers crossed.

This morning was really nice, after waking up Christian and I went to the gym and tanning. We were hoping to go to the pool but it is closed for some reason. I really want to go swimming! Ugh. Oh well. Maybe it will be open this weekend. I hope.

I think that is about it for now. I am getting hungry, so I am probably going to go see what we can have for lunch. I hope you all are having a great day.

Busy Busy Busy…

Holy crap, I have felt like I have been so busy. When if you look at it, I really have not been. I started class on the 23rd, and it has been going eh, not so bad, but not so great. I have a lot of Art classes, and then some core classes. I am expecting to do very well this semester, it is just that I can feel the stress rising. Like for example; My drawing class would be such a cool class, if I could draw. >.> So why pick a drawing class ? I didn’t, it was a prerequisite for my other more advanced classes.

So, today I had an interview with Olive Garden, which went so well. Hopefully I will get that job, because that would be so amazing if I was an employee at Olive Garden ! Like heck yeah ! Kyle has an interview tomorrow there as well, as well as an interview at a Nursing Home on Thursday. Lucky him, because Olive Garden is my only chance at making it. So, fingers crossed for me people !

I am sitting next to Kyle right now, as he plays Star Wars. Which is so cute. And then after I do this post and he finishes the level he is on, we are going to play Fatal Frame. The original and best one. I am stoked, because scary games are definitely one of the best genres. OH ! And speaking of Star Wars and games. Is anyone getting the “Star Wars: The Old Republic” ?! Because Kyle and I really want it, but they are only releasing it for PC it seems, and we have macs. I mean I know I can run bootcamp, but that is just a shit load of drama for a game. But if the game excels like it is supposed to then maybe, just maybe I will run bootcamp. Then again, the game is competing with World of Warcraft, and it is going to take a lot to impress me, so we will see.

Well, that’s all for now. I just thought I would give you all a little update on how my life is going. Do not be shy ! Kyle and I are loving the asks and comments. So please keep them coming !
I hope you all have a good night, and keep reading. (:

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I really like your blog! I just discovered it today, and I read all the way back to the beginning. I'm gay as well, and I am also moving out for the first time, so I definately relate to it. You two's happiness together is also really inspiring, and the fact that you are engaged, fingers crossed that New York will start a trend:) Anyways, good luck in your moving in together endeavor!
Asketh - wadingintheriver

Thank you for reading! I wish you all the luck in moving out, it is a very scary but exciting moment. Keep your head up no matter how many stressful things may come your way. And you bet, fingers crossed!

What about your boggarts? (:
Asketh - somethingsofsomething

Mine would be a spider. I am already terrified of them, and when I see them, I have to jump around like a ninja and beg Kyle to kill or get it the heck away from me.

-Christian

My parents. Well sometimes. But yeah my boggart would probably be them.

What would be your patronous?

Mine would be a penguin, of course. An illuminated penguin would be just amazing.

Mine would be a cat. I love cats.

Weather.

As you all may know, Hurricane Irene is coming to where we live. We are supposed to be getting a lot of rain and about Fifty mph winds this weekend. The rain should begin sometime Friday evening/night, the winds will come on Saturday. I do not think that we will be hit too bad. I mean the winds are strong enough to blow a small cat or dog around but I have seen and been in worse. However, the Outer Banks of North Carolina will be hit harder, Okracoke Island was evacuated a few days ago and I think Southern Shores is being evacuated now. I talked to my mother and back home in Currituck, school has been cancelled for today and tomorrow as well. I do not think that Currituck will be asked to evacuate, but it is a possibility. I have stronger doubts that Greenville will be asked to evacuate either. I am actually really excited for this weather. Because I will have an excuse to be lazy, watch movies and just lay around all weekend listening to the storm. It might actually be the last weekend I get to do this for a while since Christian and I both have job interview this coming week.

Oh! And so far, my classes are going good. I am taking Statistics, English Lit, Developmental Psychology and Human Anatomy and Physiology Part 1. They all seem very relaxed, which is a plus. And! My teachers are all very nice. My English teacher is a writer and painter who has a second home in France. I am jealous. She goes there all the time to write and paint. Who would blame her?

How is school going for you all? Christian and I would both love to hear about it from you! Just leave it in an ask. Or if you have any other questions, do not hesitate. You can go anonymous! Keep reading!
